It’s not often that someone comes along and, with one note, grabs your heart and soul that’s exactly what’s happened with local and nationally known singer songwriter Kim Trusty. Kim is a fan favorite in Providence and here at the Brooklyn Coffee Tea and Guest House. With her smooth and powerful voice Kim brings audiences together and is sure to delight you with both original songs and the music of many well-known jazz and blues legends.
Accompanied by Grammy nominated composer and Steinway Pianist, Joe Parillo. Joe has played nationally and internationally with the Glen Miller Orchestra and vibraphonist Jay Hoggard. He has been commissioned to write numerous jazz ballets and has arranged and recorded over twenty-five productions.
The “Brooklyn House” is a historic landmark mill building in the heart of the Smith Hill neighborhood in Providence. Nestled behind the building you’ll find an oasis of green grass and shade trees, quite possibly, one of the best kept secrets in Providence. Weather permitting, Kim and Joe will be performing in the garden.
