Sarina Mitchel, artist and illustrator. Sarina graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration in 2015. After a year of Americorps and teaching art, she has dedicated herself to her work as a full-time artist. Her work consists primarily of paintings and colored pencil with a diverse collection of subjects including proboscis (ie: elephant trunks), fish and plants, and bio tech which represents the symbiosis of cells and circuits. For this work she draws on several techniques and mediums to create mixed media with glitter gel pens and iridescent inks.

Jennifer Gillooly Cahoon, Having spent nearly 20 years teaching in the Rhode Island public schools Jennifer took the leap of faith and is now living the dream of a full time artist. Jennifer works in large format and although she paints all subjects this show will be dedicated to portraits of women. Her goal is to connect with her subject and to reveal something more than just an image depicting someone or something. She strives to create works that are ethereal… work that reveals something about the intangible nature of those depicted.
