The intimate listening room at The Brooklyn Coffee Tea & Guest House is the perfect setting to hear composer and finger style guitarist, Paul Columbino!

Playing since the age of twelve, Paul Colombino is a natural on the guitar. He performs with a comfort and ease that can only come from years of devotion to the instrument. Also a composer, Paul has been writing songs and playing for more than 20 years.

Early on, he was was introduced to the music of Leo Kottke. For him, this was a mind-altering, life-changing experience which led to an intense immersion into the intricacies of finger style guitar that continues to this day.

His perception and understanding of the instrument as a vehicle of artistic expression, both as a performer and composer has given him the skills necessary to construct melody and accompaniment on a single instrument, learning to write for the guitar as a miniature orchestra.

While Paul has produced several CD's and is currently working on his next release it is his live solo performances that you won't want to miss. Along with his inspired originals, he includes unique versions of classic rock, rock and roll, folk, and pop covers spanning over the last three decades. With a relaxed stage presence and wit, he pulls the audience in with his songs and stories of life, delving into the process and motivations that inspire his compositions- guaranteed to amuse and delight all.
